Official closing of the International Curling Tournament “Adamant-Trophy 2013,” held on 19 May 2013

Emerging victorious from the tournament was the Adamant men’s team, the reigning Russian champions. The event was held at the new curling facility ICE PARK at Balkaniya NOVA. The culmination and finishing touch of the tournament was the super-match between the world’s first Olympic curling champions in the history of the Games, from Switzerland, and the “Adamant’s Young Stars” team, comprised of juniors who won gold at the 2013 World Championships in Sochi. Alina Kovaleva, Olesya Glushenko, and Oksana Gertova triumphed over the Swiss with a final score of 5:4.
