Private Investors Finance Repairs of a School Building in Puykolla
The new school year begins in a newly renovated school building in the settlement of Puykolla, Sortavala District of the Republic of Karelia.
Thanks to the financial assistance of Adamant Holding in the person of its president Igor Mikhailovich Leitis and the local budget the building of the Puykolla Secondary School has changed beyond recognition.
Just recently the school’s heating system had functioned very poorly, the windows and doors needed to be replaced, and hallways and bathrooms also were in need of renovation. Much work has been done over the summer: all the windows were replaced, all the bathrooms were renovated, as were the assembly hall, the entrance group and the first floor lobby area. Additionally, a new adjustable heating system now allows to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the building, and allows to use heat efficiently. A new fence was also installed along the perimeter of school grounds.
We are confident that the students will feel much more comfortable in their renovated school, and no mundane problems will distract them from studying from now on.
